Keystone Gulch

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Wildflowers line the roadside and a river runs along the opposite bank at Keystone Gulch, a dispersed campground outside Dillon, Colorado. Campsites sit along the left side of the road, each with a fire pit spaced at reasonable intervals from the next. The road in is easy to navigate. Pack water, since the river is across the road rather than at camp.

Easy access, limited spots

This area has easily accessible roads, my Honda oddesey did great. You can only camp on the left side, probably about 5-6 full spots along the 2.2 miles you can camp. Very limited to 0 shade on these spots but across the road is a river/creek that flows most of the way down.

All the way at the end of the 2.2 miles you’ll find a shady spot but it was taken when we arrived. Limited to no service the farther back you get. Great for a little over night. Its proximity to the freeway meant there was a fair bit of other people out there. ATVs and bikers along the path. Overall good lil area!

Easy and private

All the dispersed camping is along the left side. There sre fire pits spaced out decently for. The road is easy and all the trees are gorgeous. Theres a river that runs on the other side of the road and wildflowers everywhere!
