Description
Chattanooga Road (FR 820) cuts through the rugged San Juan Mountains, reaching this dispersed area just below the Columbine Lake trailhead with open views down the surrounding valley. A handful of pull-offs can accommodate a couple of vehicles, and a fire ring is present on site. Access requires a stream crossing, and the approach is best suited to smaller, high-clearance rigs. No cell signal reaches this stretch of the corridor.
