Walk in

If this is the site, something like 3a or some such, beware, looks nothing like photo. Right on the White River, narrow road is down sloped with nearly impassible water filled pot holes approaching the river. Passable only with high clearance pickup truck. Fortunately we found enough space to…

Directions

To access the Big Trujillo River Take Out-Put In Site travel Rangely, CO. Then travel south off State Highway 64 near the Loaf N Jug gas station on the west side of town onto River Rd, which becomes County Road 2. Travel approx. 5 miles on County Road 2 and turn right on a dirt road just past the Entering Public Lands sign. Travel approx. 0.1 mile to the river access site which includes a parking area and easy river take-out/put-in site.
