Description
Crazy Gulch cuts through a quiet open grazing allotment in Pike National Forest, tucked into the rolling terrain north of Divide at roughly 9,100 feet. A dirt ranch road leads through a pair of unlocked green gates — close each one behind you — opening into a mix of aspen groves, wide meadows, and forest tracks where you can pull off almost anywhere. The road is bumpy but manageable for high-clearance rigs; it gets rougher past the second gate, so most campers settle in before that point. Expect hikers and dog-walkers during the day and genuine quiet after dark, with workable cell signal and a possible glimpse of Pikes Peak to the south.
