The campground sits within Arapaho National Forest along Denver Creek, accommodating RVs up to 25 feet through drive-in access. Forest Service management provides drinking water, toilets, picnic tables, and trash service during the May through September season. One long-time visitor notes the area has been affected by beetle kill, reducing tree cover from previous decades. Despite this change, the small campground maintains its appeal for return visitors who appreciate the creek-side setting. Pet restrictions apply to all sites. Campers seeking more options can explore campgrounds around Arapaho National Forest, while Sawmill Gulch Campground offers an alternative just over two miles southeast.
