About 16 miles northwest of campgrounds near Pagosa Springs, Bridge Campground sits along a creek in open terrain within San Juan National Forest. The US Forest Service manages this drive-in facility with approximately nine first-come, first-served sites that provide drinking water, toilets, and trash service from Memorial Day through September.
Campers report good spacing between sites and no cell service in the area. The creek runs about 10 yards wide with clear water where visitors can watch fly fishermen catch trout. A campground host sells firewood on-site, and the dirt road access presents no issues for most vehicles. The campground prohibits pets and costs up to $28 per night.
