Perfect for last minute stops

We stopped here since it was off the highway on the way towards Denver. It is all gravel/dirt with tight spaces and lots of seasonal/full-time campers. Few amenities but they do have a small playground near the office with sand, toys & swings. The office has a drop box for late arrivals, I didn’t have to make a reservation and found a spot they listed as available for 4 nights so we stayed there 2 nights before moving to St Vrain State Park. It is very close to the highway, especially the group of sites on the east side, it can be noisy but
