Yanks RV Resort

Cement pads, blacktop roads, and a swimming pool still running in November: Yanks RV Resort in Greenfield, California operates more like a well-maintained residential park than a roadside stopover. Set amid agricultural fields off Highway 101, the resort sits close enough to the freeway to make entry and exit straightforward, yet reviewers consistently report quiet nights despite the proximity to traffic. The surrounding landscape opens up toward green hills and planted fields, with wide sightlines that shift dramatically at dusk.

The facilities here draw the most consistent praise across reviews. Bathrooms are configured as individual private rooms rather than shared stalls, and multiple reviewers note they rival what you'd find in a well-kept home. Wendy S. puts it plainly: "the bathrooms and showers were so nice and clean." Beyond the restrooms, the resort includes a pool, hot tub, gym, laundry facilities, a dog park with a washing station, and a small playground. WiFi clocks in at a usable 60 Mbps according to one reviewer, which matters for longer-term stays. Not many trees shade the sites.

Yanks functions well as a base for regional day trips. Pinnacles Campground -- Pinnacles National Park is roughly 10 miles northeast, and the Inn at the Pinnacles offers another nearby option for those exploring that area. Hearst Castle is also within reasonable driving range for a day excursion. A Shell station nearby reportedly carries some of the lower diesel prices in the state, a practical note for RV travelers heading north or south on 101.

Sites accommodate rigs up to 70 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. Reservations are available and worth making in advance, as the park houses long-term residents alongside overnight guests, keeping occupancy steady. Rates run around $80 per night. The resort works best for RV travelers who want reliable hookups, clean shared facilities, and quick highway access while moving along the Central Coast corridor.

Quiet

Reserved a site July 3/4 to get away from big city fireworks. The well maintained park was a very refreshing get away. I will return.

The most amazing RV park we have been in

The RV park is absolutely perfect. From the beginning, the communication is clear and fast. The park is clean like we have never seen before. The showers and toilets are PRIVATE rooms larger than a luxurious hotel and they are meticulously cleaned. Even though the highway is a few hundred meters away, we had a very quiet night and don't let me start talk about the view..., the perfect sunset, green mountains and endless fields...

Fancy!

As folks who live in their van and travel, this is probably one of the fancier places we’ve stayed. Since part of 1 is closed, we had to detour. This is a true RV park that many live in for long periods. Thus, the bathrooms and showers were so nice and clean. It is expensive, at $80, but it’s what we had to do and found it to be super nice. It was a quick stay, as we headed to Pinnacles NP West for some hiking. Only 30 minutes away.

One of the cleanest well maintained RV Parks

Friendly staff will greet you then escort you to your site. Everything looks new. When I asked our escort he said it was 10 years old. Amazing. The bathrooms are very private and looks like what you would find in a home. Very impressive. Planted fields surround the RV park, Located right off highway 101, it is easy on easy off. This would be a good location for passing through or going to the Pinnacles. You get what you pay for here.

Beautiful new park

Not sure how new this park is but the facilities look very new. Beautiful pads, amenities, and landscaping. Small but clean dog park. Small but clean play area for kids. Pool was up and running in November! Cute sitting area with fireplace. Great stop in the middle of agriculture fields.

Nice all paved and full hook up for a cheap price

Very nice paved all the way with full hook up and amenities like jacuzzi and pool and gym is a plus plus very close to national park. Only thing is receptionist tends to be forgetful but not a biggie she’s still very nice.

No respect during covid

Very unfortunate, a nice clean campground close to Pinnacles National Park but a lack of respect from the office. No one is wearing masks, enter at your own risk.

An Oasis in the Middle of Nowhere

After being on the road for 2 1/2 months this place was just what we needed for a stop over on our way NORTH on 101. Clean everything, perfect level cement pad, large very nice dog park with room for the pups to run and play and a friendly helpful staff. This would be a perfect place to explore Pinnacle National or Hearst Castle. There is nothing near buy, except a Shell station with the lowest diesel prices I’ve seen in California. We ordered dinner from Luigi’s (located in Gonzales) they delivered for free and the food was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again.

Relatively new park!

Awesome new facilities - swimming pool, laundry, restrooms... get this, the WiFi works and is relatively fast (60mbps according to speednet). They are still building the back portion of the park and their crew caused quite a bit of noise in the AM. We stayed for 3 nights and visited, Monterey and Carmel. The park is right off the 101 freeway but was pretty quiet at night. The Salinas fire was happening so the air quality was horrible but we were very happy with our stay here.
