Great Stop

Needed a spot for one night en route to Las Vegas. We took the first big clearing on the left side. Saw at least 4 other RVs and campers. Verizon 3 bars LTE. Crazy winds but expected.

Awesome Central Location

Stayed for 3 nights. Spots are very tight so no sense of privacy but the backdrop is just magnificent. One can also hear the Virgin River run through especially at night. You are paying for the proximity to Zion’s main entrance and shops and restaurants. If you can’t book inside Zion, this spot is the best contingency.

Party City!

Labor Day Weekend stay… we left Los Angeles to escape the heat wave. Arrived at 9pm and was pleasantly surprised with the vibe (glow lights everywhere, music, drinking). Definitely not your typical camping experience… more of a parking lot beach party vibe. There is a bike path nearby that is awesome for young kids.

Location is great and convenient.

Dry Camping

Last minute booking for us as all of the surrounding parks were fully booked. We got site “W.” Stayed for one night. This spot seems to mostly cater to tent and cabin campers… had to use 4 blocks to level our tailer, the site was full of trash and dog poop too.

One thing that is awesome is that there is a bike path (5 miles ish round trip) that leads to the beach. The path is along a creek, surrounded by trees, and goes through a golf course. It is relatively flat and our 7yr old had a blast.

Relatively new park!

Awesome new facilities - swimming pool, laundry, restrooms… get this, the WiFi works and is relatively fast (60mbps according to speednet). They are still building the back portion of the park and their crew caused quite a bit of noise in the AM. We stayed for 3 nights and visited, Monterey and Carmel. The park is right off the 101 freeway but was pretty quiet at night. The Salinas fire was happening so the air quality was horrible but we were very happy with our stay here.

Great for a family with young kids

Stayed at site Fox 5 (full hook-ups) for 3 nights. Nice level concrete pad and fire pit. We didn’t have any immediate neighbors and it was very quiet and felt very remote at night time. Fox camp is perfect for our kids that like to be on their bicycles and explore. There is a park store right across the street (very pricey but convenient). We had a great time here and will most likely be back.

Great Base Camp for SD

We were escaping the heat wave in Los Angeles (115° upon our departure)… arrived and was glad to be welcomed by 85° with a continuous breeze. Site 17 is at the end of the south loop adjacent to a driveway leading to what it appears a private property.

Great base camp to explore downtown SD.

Awesome Base Camp

Stayed for 4 nights. The park is 10minutes away from Zion National Park and about 2hrs from Bryce Canyon. The park is adjacent to the Virgin River. Walking path to the river is great for kids. Verizon signal is poor but TMobile gets 4 bars. This park is the best alternative when campgrounds inside Zion are booked. The park store is relatively full of pertinent supplies and gift items. They even have a “mining” activity for the kiddos. Would def stay here again when we visit the area next.

Perfect Base Camp for SF

30 mins away from the City. A bit pricy but that is to be expected in SF. Clean facilities but make no mistake about it… this is a parking lot with hook ups and the sites are in arms length in proximity to each other. It is well worth it as one can be in the city within 30mins. We will def stay here again.

Awesome view

Booked a site with the view of Lake Mead. Got lucky as we didn’t have immediate neighbors during our stay (closest one was 4 sites down) perhaps the 120° weather is a deterrent for some folks. WiFi connected but it was pretty much useless. Staff was very friendly. Access to the lake and marina was easy. We were en route to Utah and it was an awesome stop.

Huge Park...great amenities

Last minute booking… we got a site with no electricity just water and sewer. Got a bit warm but it was manageable. The park has a pool, cafe, and other great amenities. As our site was sort of on the edge of the park, we had no cell signal (our weboost was useless ofcourse).

Awesome Park... river access

Owner is super friendly and chill. Gave us a site backed-in to the river. He also pointed to the direction where we can see Neowise comet (he was spot on!)…restrooms are clean. WiFi works but a bit spotty at times. Our kids enjoyed the river and used the park’s kayaks and paddle boards (for free!). We will def be back when we are around the area.

Awesome Park...great staff

Our site was large, quiet/secluded, and near the access to the .5 mile hike path within the park. The park is nearby all the access points for the different Redwood must-see sights. The best thing about this park is the owners. They were uber friendly and was very kind to provide a (hand drawn but very accurate) map. They took the time to speak re the different areas we should explore specifically for our kids. We were able to hit all of the sights during our stay thanks to their map and guidance. We would def stay here again
