ScoutNice campground in a quiet setting
Nice quiet and clean campground. With a lots of hiking trails and activities to do. The only downside is the drinking water has issues.

Went camping in August, during a heatwave, and had Covid restrictions. Even with all of that, we had a good time! We were in spot 21 right by the pond. Camped in a tent trailer and had plenty of room to set up an outdoor sitting and cooking areas. The only issue was “meat bees” that came around when we were trying to eat. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with supplies. Pool was nice and refreshing but had little shaded areas. We definitely would camp there again when it isn’t so hot!

Has a coded security gate which changes monthly. Has a pool, spa, playground, barn , RV storage, laundry, restrooms with showers, catch & release pond,,etc
Office workers are not real professional, rules change a lot.

FROM ESCONDIDO: Take Highway 78 east through Ramona and continue 5 miles to the entrance to Ramona Oaks RV Resort which will be on the left. The entrance can be easy to miss so as you approach 5 miles, keep an eye out on the left side. FROM I-8 AND LAKESIDE: Drive north on Highway 67 and continue through Ramona. Highway 67 will become 78. Continue 5 miles to the entrance to Ramona Oaks RV Resort which will be on the left. The entrance can be easy to miss so as you approach 5 miles, keep an eye out on the left side.
