Big Pine Campground is located near Wilderville in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The terrain consists of forested areas with pine trees and varied elevations. Campers can explore the nearby Rogue River for fishing and rafting, and temperatures range from 30°F in winter to 90°F in summer.

Temporary Closure Order due to hazardous trees. These sites are located in a rustic camp. Campsites are suitable for tents and trailers. This site is home to what was once the world's tallest ponderosa pine tree--it is now the second tallest! Facilities 12 campsites with picnic tables, and fire pits Drinking water (hand pump) 3 vault toilets Garbage disposal (during open season)

From Grants Pass, OR, travel northwest 17.8 miles on Interstate 5 west and take the Merlin / Galice Road about 12 miles left onto Forest Road 25 and go 12 miles to the campground.
