PLEASE stop at the base hotel to register. There is no “manager” on site. This is a military only facility that is on post, I.D. Is required Once we arrived we found a very new park in excellent condition. Full hookups, including cable. The ground is packed earth which shouldn’t be a problem except the three days a year it rains. Each site has plenty of room and a small carport for tow vehicle or table cover. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. Verizon cell coverage is 4/5 bars

Enter 29 palms (the town) on Hwy 62. Turn north on Adobe Road (well marked as the road to the marine base). Continue north on Adobe Rd for about 5 miles to main gate. After passing thru the main gate, turn right at first traffic light, head south until you see the Home Store on the right. Park in that lot and walk across the street to the Housing office. DO NOT attempt to park at Bldg 690. After checking-in, continue south on Del Valle Dr for .2 miles where Del Valle makes a gradual turn (NCIS is on your right). At this point, Del Valle becomes Condor Rd. You will see the housing area on your right immediately ahead of you. Follow Condor for .4 miles (passing Rainbow Canyon and Sandhill Roads along the way).
