Good stay

Little family owned RV spot— some long termers. Everyone super nice. Big spot, shade of trees, walk down to lake. Full hookup. 7 minutes to big bear lake town. Hiking trails out front gate. Probably not big rig friendly.

Cozy & Quirky (In the best way)

This was a cozy little place. Many long stay residents and seemingly some part time houses which honestly makes it reliably quiet and peaceful. Very friendly hosting staff. Quirky because it feels like you’re staying at someone’s cabin. There’s an outdoor tool shop at the front, a little fish cleaning cabin that make you feel at home. And there’s cozy touches like bird feeders flower baskets at some sites. The only thing I didn’t like was that the lakefront wasn’t the nicest spot to swim or even wade. You could rent paddle boards and kayaks and while the prices were competitive with other shops we didn’t feel like spending $100 for a couple hours of entertainment for 2. Very close to walking and biking trails.

Initial looks can be deceiving

Came across this property while on the hunt for a getaway from the Vegas heat. The property on the outside looks like it might be cluttered, busy, and even poorly maintained, but wait...there's more!

Check in with Max was super easy and friendly. He put us in spot 62. And man, what a spot. A gravel spot with a concrete pad and picnic table, with a view to die for!

The site and grounds are full of families if all ages and their 4-legged friends.

Highly recommended spot!
