Excellent experience!

I wish I could give 5 stars! The staff alone deserves 10 stars! Sue and Denise are incredible! Excellent location to the village, you can ride your bike in. We stayed on the point, beautiful view of the lake. Also, boat rental right there! I do feel there could be some love and TLC put into this RV resort to give it some life. Dog owners please keep your dogs close after sunset, you are in coyote territory. We will definitely be back.

Lovely place by the marina

I showed up without a reservation. The ladies on reception were super nice and helpful, paid 70$ for a spot. Came with full hook up, Wi-Fi, very clean toilets & showers (open to public, showers are 0.25$ for 3 mins). Lovely sunset by the marina. Nice and quiet

Not to clean

So super cool little area, trash bins, it has RV and hooks ups, clean bathrooms open to public and people staying the RV area, they have a store, dump station, and a few other things not to mention the marina. OH, and it's literally on the water so great views. We stayed in an Air BnB around the corner and rented a boat from here so we can walk from our home to the marina. I'm giving it a 3 star because the RV area was well maintained but the marina....yikes let me tell you about the boat rental…. the pictures I posted were the images of under the cushions we had lost our chapstick and picked up the first seat too look for it and than after that lifted all the cushions and were so disgusted we brought the boat back early.... mind you its covid and this was just mind-blowing to me. Especially in California honestly, cleanliness right now is key and for a 300 dollar boat rental for it to be dirty that was gross. sure we have kids and dogs but they deserve clean stuff too. anyway, that's all I have. really wish people could understand the severity of this virus and if people are visiting your place in this time in our world you should at least give them a sense of security not just mask it. Not to mention they have a lot of young kids working there who should have that place spotless and you were closed for months, that stuff was under there for quite a while.

Tight but great location

We have a 265bh transcend and parked it in a site on the water. Great views and enjoyed watching the fish jump in the evenings. The sight was a little small but made it work. Had to hang the rear of the trailer over the river bank about 8’. Not a big deal but took the rear stabilizer out of play for the weekend.

Good shade and campers were friendly. Lots of long term campers that were there for the summer.

We rented a boat on Saturday and was great just to walk out on the dock with the kids. 4 hr rental was just enough. Make reservations for they sell out on the weekends. Super easy.

Would stay here again.

Make sure you take the back way up the mountain. It’s no joke pulling a trailer up there.

Nice place

Hard to review this place objectively. We had a bad experience. Note this place DOES NOT accept walk-ins (you must have a res). Well we didn’t realize this and found ourselves in a bind later at night. Called the number from google and a guy answered. We explained our situation and asked if we could choose an open spot (there were many) and pay in the morning. He was very considerate and agreed. We had the most FRIENDLY neighbors. Many longer term stays. People were clearly enjoying themselves here. went to sleep and immediately went to front desk to pay in the morning. The woman at the front desk was incredibly mean and downright aggressive telling me we were NOT welcome and that we broke the rules. She kept lecturing even after I said I just wanted to just pay for our stay and leave. While I paid she continued to spew anger. Thanks to her we’ll never be back. They should have had more signage that said walks ins were not welcome. We would not have bothered calling. This place is right on the lake though and it’s beautiful and had all the standard RV hookups.

The Mountains!

Pretty nice but quite tight resort with many permanent or semi-permanent residents. The RV Park is co located with a marina on the lake offering boat rentals and cruises on their Pirate Ship. Bathrooms are clean but they do charge for showers at 25cents per three minutes. They collect garbage daily curbside! The cable TV does not work and we were informed (after checking in) that it will not be fixed, and there is no RF tv in the mountain basin. Bring your satellite dish if you have one. It was difficult to use the dump hookups as they’re elevated about a foot off the ground so I had to lift the hose off my support snake many times. The sites are very small and close and I don’t know how some of the larger coaches got into their spaces.

Decent Place

Stayed for a couple of days. RV Site 12. First time at a site with hook ups with our new travel trailer. Hook ups were simple...water, 50/30/&20A electric, sewer. Sewer inlet was a bit high. Had to lift my hose many times to drain fully. Asphalt pad with gravel picnic area between pads. Pad was a little off level. Had to block one side. Many sites seem to be permanent residents or rented by seasonal folks. Park was nice and relatively quiet for the time we were there. Park staff was very nice and helpful. Little store in the park office had basic RV items and some snacks. Bathrooms and showers onsite were relatively clean and in working order. I would stay here again.
