Good place if sequoia is priority

Shaded in the evening spot. Good if you want a spot to jump off to sequoia NP. 1 hr 45 minutes to get to kings canyon visitor center. Water pressure not the greatest but gets the job done. Easy to maneuver sites. The river spots are popular, we did not have one. 2 washers 2 dryers, $1.50 and $1 respectively. Old school and efficient. There is a swimming hole spot that is popular. Three Rivers is the closest town— about 10 minutes to small grocery, brewery, froyo, coffee shop, gas station.

Good stay

Little family owned RV spot— some long termers. Everyone super nice. Big spot, shade of trees, walk down to lake. Full hookup. 7 minutes to big bear lake town. Hiking trails out front gate. Probably not big rig friendly.

Last minute switch, glad we did!

Great! Spot 150 very tight 3 point to get into with 22 ft, but— back of the koa, view of Cocochino National Forest. Access to tons of hiking trails out back door (Elden Lookout, Farman’s loop, etc). Walking trail around perimeter great for dogs. Wi-Fi weak and didn’t reach sight but Verizon signal good. Would definitely have been a different feel at a more central spot. About 15 minutes to downtown Flagstaff. Nice Circle K to fuel up right across the street. Only did 2 nights- would have definitely liked a few more.

Great!

First longer stop (3 nights) on our cross country trip. 22 ft trailer, sewer hook ups, Koa worker leads you to your spot, which was nice. Fence between campsites gives some privacy. Great dog park area and playground for 2 yr old. Everyone we interacted with was nice and helpful. Laundry is clean: $3 washer, $1.59 dryer— need 2 runs on the dryer. 18 minute drive into downtown Santa Fe. Did the grasshopper canyon trail 9 minutes away, pecos national historic monument 30 minutes and Bandelier national monument 50 minutes.

Better than expected

Pull through spot for our 22ft camper was very easy. Sewer at site. Well shaded with trees. Good, clean pool was an unexpected relief from heat. Some longer term stays, everyone was super nice. Off highway. Great 1 night stop en route to Santa Fe.

Beautiful

Beautiful little spot, only stayed a night. Walk right up to lake. Spots to our right had kayaks to put in right at campsite. Dump site on the way out. Spotted a Texas bobcat.

Good stop

Believe it was a 2 night minimum. One night overstay is sufficient. Nice, empty campground. Didn’t see a single human. Some sites have water access for throwing a line in. Trail between the caney lakes was nice.
