Accessible via forest roads, Headquarters Campground operates from mid-May through mid-October within Modoc National Forest near Tulelake. The US Forest Service maintains this established campground with drinking water, restrooms, and a dump station for RVs up to 16 feet in length. Sites accommodate tents and smaller RVs, with campfires permitted and pets welcome throughout the property.
The campground sits near a lake, providing water access for campers. Trash service keeps sites clean during the operating season. For additional camping options in the region, campers can explore camping destinations around Modoc National Forest. Reserve sites in advance during peak summer months when forest access roads are fully clear.
