Fine for Serious Rvers

We had the opportunity to stay at this campground. It's a private campground, think RV timeshare.

Overall it is very familiar friendly. Pools, kids rooms and hot showers with laundry.

For people looking for an rv facility, this would be a great option, but out family found it crowded and more like staying in another suburbia.

Ghost Mtn

This resort is part of Colorado River Adventures and is private. Very nice park with everything you could need. People in sales are nice too and not pushy. We didn't become members, but really like this resort in Pollock Pines.

Nice but Crowed

This is not my usual type of campground. When we bought our RV, we had a free trial membership offer Andy here we are.

This is a private campground tine share system. We actually decided to buy in because of some of the services the offer. Locations also meet our meet.

Quiet, nice pool area, many cycling opportunities

I brought both my mtb and road bike. On my mtb I followed Badger Hill Rd which is a gravel road that gradually descends 500 ft over 2.5 miles through the forest then turned right onto a trail just prior to a bridge crossing a creek.  The trail follows the creek for awhile before it looped back to the campground. 34 mile round trip road bike ride passes many Apple Hill farms and uses a nice paved bike trail into Placerville. Routes to Jenkinson Lake also an option.
