Turtle Creek Campground is fantastic

A fantastic campground overlooking the Whitney range with easy access to roclimbing sites of Alabama Hills.

Ten minutes to Lone Pine which has very thick. You may have forgotten to bring.

Site are well spaced to allow some form of privacy in the high mountI desert.

Fine for Serious Rvers

We had the opportunity to stay at this campground. It's a private campground, think RV timeshare.

Overall it is very familiar friendly. Pools, kids rooms and hot showers with laundry.

For people looking for an rv facility, this would be a great option, but out family found it crowded and more like staying in another suburbia.

Beautiful location

You could ask for a better place to camp with having to backpack in. Site are separated with scrubs to provide a secluded feeling.

Small store to prevent a long drive if you forget something.

Excellent site

Great location, used but respectful campers. Location can’t be beat.

Nice but Crowed

This is not my usual type of campground. When we bought our RV, we had a free trial membership offer Andy here we are.

This is a private campground tine share system. We actually decided to buy in because of some of the services the offer. Locations also meet our meet.

Great campground for your climbing trip

I love climbing at Lovers Leap and this campground is part of what make climbing here so simple and straight forward.

Great customer service s very clean

Very clean with great customer service.

Easy access to Santa Barbara too.

Nice simple site

Wife, daughter and I stumbled on this site while heading south on 1. They had plenty of open sites and allowed dogs. For $20, can’t beat it.

Open space with few tree. I assume it get hot in summer.

My wife say five stars, but I will rate it a 4 in case someone comes for summer.

Beautiful Beach Camping Below a Natural Hot Spring

Arizona Hot Spring campground is located just below a dramatic slot canyon that joins the river just downstream of Ringbolt Rapids and the Arizona Hot Spring.

The hot spring, which is the main reason to camp here, forms several pools that are located about 1,000 feet from the river, where the canyon walls are nearly vertical and about 6 to 9 feet apart.

The spring discharges highly mineralized water at a rate of about 30 gallons per minute and a temperature of about 111 degrees Fahrenheit. The spring issues from fractures in Miocene-age volcanic rocks near the intersection of two faults.

You'll have the place to yourself during the week, but on weekends, plan on sharing the beach with a couple other campers. Just a couple hundred feet up or down river are smaller beaches which make excellent campsites too.

A Crowded and Over Used Campground in a Perfect Location

Camp 4 is Yosemite's only walk-in campground, which means you don't need reservation to stay. Of course, with such a popular destination, perfect location and lack of other options in the area, you'll need to get up early to find a spot.

This site sees a lot of traffic. While the location is great, the actual site resemble a large patch of well used dirt. During busy season, plan on other campers taking a festive approach to dinner and campfire life.
