Osprey - Lake Casitas Recreation Area

This is a good place to start building skills when it comes to camping but it's very limited in features. sitting not too far from a main road, this place gives a good area to get familiar with camping. If you like fishing there's a pretty good size lake, unfortunately none of the catch is consumable. you have to throw it back.

I have camped here many times. My kids love it. There is a lot of space for them to scooter or ride bikes. The water park in this campground is top tier! Great for kids and adults. Lazy river compares with those at top hotels. You can also go fishing on the lake, which my daughter loves. Pretty views, nice weather, and a short drive to Ojai if you want to walk around a cute town. I love going here for a weekend getaway.
