Anglers and hikers will find direct creek access at Rocky Campground, a Forest Service site in Lassen National Forest that operates from April through October. The 16-foot RV length limit keeps this campground oriented toward tent campers and smaller rigs. Most sites overlook Hat Creek and offer privacy between camping areas.
Vault toilets provide the only facilities beyond standard picnic tables and fire rings. Sites include trails leading down to the water for fishing access, and the sound of flowing water carries through the camping area. The campground tends to see lighter use, with some loops remaining nearly empty during peak season. Bridge Campground sits less than a mile northwest for campers seeking additional amenities.
Description
Not recommended for trailers.
