Along the Colorado River in southeastern California, Palo Verde County Park sits within a National Wildlife Refuge area where campers regularly spot local wildlife. The county-managed campground accommodates RVs up to 80 feet across approximately 18 first-come, first-served sites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit.
Access requires a third-mile drive on Dusty Road, a dirt surface that leads from the main highway to the riverside location. Clean pit toilets and dumpster service support the $15 nightly fee, with discounts available for America the Beautiful Pass holders. Campers can explore Oxbow less than half a mile southeast for a different riverside experience.
