Bright Bear Camp in Tahoe NF

Bright Bear Camp is a private two-acre property bordering the Tahoe National Forest. We are located at 4300' elevation down a mostly dirt road along the beautiful Bear River and Bear Valley. This is a very peaceful spot among the trees with a small meadow and creek on the property.

There is a variety of sites offered at Bright Bear Camp. We have two tent camping sites and a pull-in RV site that can accommodate campervans, rooftop tents, and small RVs. For those looking for a glamping-style experience, check out Pearl the Airstream or Two Creeks Cabin, a converted shipping container cabin.

There is much to explore in the area, and more to discover with only a short drive to the South Yuba River, Emerald Pools, Lake Spaulding, Donner Pass, Donner Lake, and Truckee.
