Nice park, water and electric at the site. Some sites are a little close but not bad. Weekend campers mostly, very friendly.
This park was nice, we had a nice secluded spot right by the lake. The swimming area was crazy busy the weekend we were there. The trail we went on was nice and the park interpreters were very informative!
We camped here for Labor Day weekend and it was so nice! The bathrooms and showers were clean. They had live music one night as well as a couple other park programs throughout the weekend. The river is beautiful and holds a special place in my heart (been coming here since I was a kid). The…

We didn’t camp but the campground choices are few and the beach is small. However, it was a great shady place to enjoy with bathrooms.
Amazing peaceful campsite. Can be eerie pulling up at night but is so beautiful and peaceful. On the right dark night you can see every star in the sky. Bathrooms are cleaned every other day.no running water or showers just two vault toliet. Some campsites have cell phone service. Att and had the…

Several first come-first serve sites for RV or tent. Fire rings at each site and vault toilets at each end of campground. Limited Verizon cell. Great hikes on bluffs overlooking valley.
Road going in needs work but in fairness you're driving through Ozark mountain roads that wash out easily. Very remote and that invites less than reputable company. The river access was badly washed and we had to be careful even with 4wd about getting to and from to load up the kayaks.

Fantastic scenery, camps, facilities and hosts. Family owned, family friendly. Located at the end of the world, it will take a bit to.get there but the drive is worth it.

We took a trip to the Buffalo Point Campground in mid July and it was awesome. Our elementary school age kids as well as the dogs enjoyed the river very much. And some easy hiking was also on our list.
This place is the perfect spot for dispersed campers. All of the sites are a good distance from the road and surrounded by trees. Very private and immersed in nature. The trails are adventurous but also not too hard for a new hiker… but the bluffs and views from the trails are worth it. The trails…
There is trails to hike, paddle boats, canoes and a great swimming hole. Especially love the fact that they don't let dogs on the beach where they can poop all over the place where you sit and walk I was very grateful for that because I've seen it in other places and it's disgusting. It's a great…
