Devils Canyon Special Interest Area Dispersed — Ozark NF

Open BLM high-desert terrain along the Ozark National Forest near the Devils Canyon Special Interest Area, this open pull-off sits amid hardwood-covered Ozark hill country in western Arkansas, close to a trail leading to two waterfalls less than a mile down the path. The road in is rocky with some ruts but manageable for 2WD; the site itself is uneven with a noticeable slope, so leveling gear is worth bringing. Low-hanging trees line the approach, and occasional foot traffic from hikers headed to the trailhead keeps it from feeling entirely remote.
