A 5 Star RV Park

Everything about this facility exceeded our expectations. Easy checkin and checkout, super clean showers and restrooms, and a well maintained park overall! Highly recommended!

Beautifully kept up grounds

Very helpful hosts and maintenance crew. Needed to stay one extra night do to high winds, no problem. Internet is good. Games for kids and adults. Group firepit, they supply the wood. Sites are kept very clean and ready for the next renter. The only downside is that the highway is right behind us. Nights were mostly quiet, morning the traffic starts about 5am. We would definitely stay again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We were given free donuts upon arrival and were escorted to our site (they even helped us back in)! We explored the insanely well kept/clean park and found an incredible little creek! We threw rocks in it for hours with our 2 little kids. The owner of the park came over and introduced himself. He even made us a fire because he knew we wanted to do s’mores! He explained that they had a bunch of games and things that the kids could play with in the common area. They were so over the top and kind! Highly recommend! I can’t wait to come back when the trees are full and green!

BEAUTIFUL campground! Plan at for at least a couple of nights!

This was just a stop along our route, and we were so bummed we only stayed here one night! Shady, lots of trees, pristine condition of all facilities including dog park, walking trail next to the creek, and large enough sites for our 42' rig. There was live music on night! Furthermore, they were generous and understanding of an emergency situation that happened on the day we needed to leave. The owner even brought my kids popsicles while we packed up! Ask him what he used to do for a living... he'll have a fun telling you about it. Beautiful campground I couldn't recommend more.

Clean and Warm

We were running from the cold all winter and finally Zane Grey offered some warmth. There were big beautiful trees and bushes. Lots of shade and butterflies and humming birds. The attendants were very friendly and helpful. They helped us back safely into our sight judgement free. Some of the permanents/regulars there were territorial and nosy.

The camp ground has a doggy run and lots of trails in back to walk. There is even a rushing creek with benches you can enjoy a snack.

Shopping, food, gas and RV wash all local.

Beautiful park!!

What a great park!! The staff is awesome, the park is extremely well kept, they have lots of shade sites and big rig friendly. You do have to pay extra for internet if you want to stream or work, but their price is very reasonable and being in a nice quiet area is worth it! There is a walking trail and a dog park and only about 7 miles from Bashas. I like the back of the park where we are so you dont get any road noise., but still theres not much traffic, especially in the evening. Would definitely come back again!

Desert Oasis

Zane Gray RV Park is a hidden gem! The sites are shady, spacious and sparkling clean. There are hiking trails that lead to a nearby creek, beautiful bird feeders throughout the property, a nice dog run for furry friends and plenty of lush green grass for an impromptu picnic. The campers are friendly and the entire staff goes above and beyond to make your experience one to remember. We didn’t want to leave, but took solace in knowing we’ll be back soon.

55+ RV Park with lots of shade

If you want a shady site in a cooler location, this is it. The temperature was consistently 5 degrees below the towns of Camp Verde and Cottonwood. However, the trees that provide the shade also may block access to satellites.

The staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful. If you pull a trailer there is room to unhook and drop it off at both ends of the village.

Social activities are scheduled, and there are several national monuments to explore nearby.
