Description
At roughly 5,000 feet on the remote North Rim of Marble Canyon, this Kaibab National Forest dispersed site sits directly on the canyon's edge — sheer walls drop straight to the Colorado River corridor below, and the exposure is as raw as it gets. The approach is a long, slow grind of approximately 20 miles on washboard gravel track (NF-2360 corridor), passable by high-clearance two-wheel-drive vehicles in dry conditions, but the sandy washes become impassable — even for 4WD — when wet. The rim itself is completely open: no shade, no facilities, and room for a handful of vehicles among the natural rock formations that double as seating.
