Description
Low Sonoran Desert west of the Arizona–California state line, this broad BLM flat sits roughly three miles south of I-10 Exit 1 near Ehrenberg, with long views toward Blythe and the Colorado River corridor after dark. The gravel access road is occasionally washboarded and rocky in spots — high-clearance is a plus, though rigs of all sizes, including large motorhomes and fifth-wheels, routinely make it in without difficulty. Space is expansive enough that even during the busy winter snowbird season campers can spread well apart; the area draws a regular mix of van-lifers, RVers, and overland travelers, and cell service is generally reliable.
