Tok RV Village campground & Cabins

This campground (CG) is a conveniently located CG right off the highway as you enter town, and it served as a great first stop for us after crossing into Alaska. We reserved 30 AMP water/electric sites for a four-night stay along with our travel partners. At check-in, we asked about full hookup(FHU) availability and were told that 50 AMP FHU sites were open. Our travel partners chose to upgrade, but we stayed with our original site as the FHU sites were a bit shorter and more closely spaced. A standout amenity is the free RV wash offered to guests staying at least two nights—we used it right away and appreciated the two pressure wash stations with buckets and soft brushes (soap not included). Our site,#87, was an end cap near the RV wash and glamping tents, and with the utility connections located near the center of the pad, we were able to easily position our 40’ fifth wheel to drop the rear patio and park our F-450 comfortably. Weather was mild during our visit, so 30 AMP service was sufficient, and water pressure held steady at around 40 PSI. Cellular service was mixed, with 1 bar LTE on Verizon and 3 bars LTE on T-Mobile, while our Starlink worked great despite the many trees, pulling in 153 Mbps download and 5.78 upload speeds. The CG offers cable TV, though we didn’t use it, and free Wi-Fi with an optional upgraded plan, though we were unable to connect and didn’t pursue it since Starlink met our needs. The CG has two clean laundry rooms—one at the office/gift shop and another at the shower house. When we chose to leave a day early, the friendly staff easily applied a credit toward our return trip back through Tok. Overall, Tok RV Village was a well-maintained, amenity-rich CG that worked well for our group, and we’d stay again.
