Nice spot by a big pond

Quiet nice sites next to a large pond. They made a nice sandy beach. Good location right off the highway but somehow quiet.

Nice for families but some noise from the highway

Nice place to take the kiddos. Right off the parks Hwy before the Big Lake turn off.

We chose #8 a beachfront site. #7 is wider for anyone trying to decide which one. There is a older swing set for smaller kids to play on and there are kayaks, canoes, & paddle boats for rent. A fire pit and wood table provided at each site.

You do hear noise from the Highway and it looks like there are some long term residents that were running their generators consistently.

Owner is very nice to work with and will bring you a wheel barrel of fire wood for $15.

RV parks are my parents thing

While RV parks I usually leave to my parents this one isn’t bad. There are spots for RVs as well as tents. Close to a bike trail and a sandy beach to Johnson pond. There is decent space between RV and tons of wild flowers.

The owners clearly love this place and it is worth a stop if you are looking for a place to take your rig.
