Within Rocky Lake State Recreation Site, this state-managed campground operates from mid-May through mid-September with approximately 10 reservable sites. The single-lane access road creates tight maneuvering for larger RVs and fifth wheels, though smaller rigs and tents fit more easily. Several sites provide direct lake access while others sit back among the trees with natural separation.
Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, with vault toilets and drinking water available. The campground features a small boat launch and swimming area for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking on Rocky Lake. Gates lock nightly between 8-10 PM and reopen at 8 AM. For additional options, campers can explore camping near Big Lake or visit nearby Big Lake North State Rec Area.
