Just over two miles northwest of downtown, Point A Park RV & Campground sits on lakefront property with full hookups for $40 per night. The campground accepts only cash or check payments and requires no deposit for reservations. Sites feature concrete picnic tables and fire pits, though ground surfaces vary between gravel, red dirt, and partial asphalt with some unlevel areas.

Full-service sites include electric, water, and sewer connections along with WiFi and cable access. Several large pull-through sites lack sewer hookups but accommodate RVs with boats and trailers. A fishing pier extends into the lake where children swim, and many campers launch boats for fishing and tubing activities. The facility maintains clean bathhouses and welcomes pets throughout the property. Frank Jackson State Park Campground provides a state park alternative eleven miles northeast.

Peaceful and Clean

Point A Campground Andalusia, Alabama This is a nice campground with very nice camp hosts and clean bath houses. We did not notice any long term campers. We had full hookups, wifi, cable, a fire pit, and a nice concrete picnic table on a partially gravel and red dirt and partial asphalt unlevel site. Our site was $40 a night without any added fees. They only accept cash and check. No deposit was required!! We had a water view, but plenty are on the water. We had shade. They have several large pull through sites without a sewer. A lot of the other campers had their boats and trailers and it looked like they were enjoying fishing and tubing on the lake. Plenty of children were swimming in the water at the end of the pier. The campground is pet friendly. Andalusia is a quaint, small town that is a little over an hour north of the Florida Panhandle. We enjoyed the 4th of July parade and they have several good restaurants.
