Update
Updated review with additional pictures after a recent visit. Bathrooms are in pretty bad disrepair but otherwise, the campground is well cared for.

Easy access to the bike trail
This is a small RV and tent campground at the start of the Chief Ladiga trail bike path. The trail itself goes all the way to the Georgia line and is an incredible and well-maintained bike path. The campground itself is nice and clean but nothing special. It is right alongside the main road and provides little to no privacy. You basically drive up and park in one of the designated areas along a small gravel loop and the whole area looks just like a grassy field. The city does keep the park very clean though the bathrooms could use some renovations (and better ventilation). Overall, it works as an overnight spot before starting the trail if you want to get an early start but nothing to write home about. One important thing to note is that the park does not have full time staff so you will need to call and reserve ahead to get a code that let's you in the gate.

In a pinch
This campground is located at the trailhead for the Chief Ladiga bike path. It has several small sites and is run by the local municipality. There are the basic bathroom features you would expect at an organized campground like this but not much extra. Since it is so close to the city and right alongside a road it doesn’t provide much privacy but works if you are camping and biking and want to get an early start or arrive here and don’t want to ride back that day. If you are going to be biking the trail and camping I would recommend first looking at the option of staying at the Chief Ladiga Campground which has much nicer amenities and is located in Talladgea National Forest so definitely has more of a camping feel. If you camp here in a tent be prepared to be mixed in with RVs and pay a slightly expensive fee for your site.
