This Sam's Club location in Homewood provides overnight parking for RVers and campers traveling through Alabama. The lot experiences heavy traffic throughout the day, with semi-trucks navigating the space alongside regular vehicles. One reviewer noted witnessing a semi-truck incident involving road debris during maneuvering.
The facility offers standard amenities including restrooms, ADA accessibility, and trash service. Cell service remains available for those needing connectivity. The adjacent Walmart — Homewood Supercenter sits just 0.1 miles away for additional supplies, though cleanliness conditions may vary. Campers should prepare for a busy commercial environment rather than a traditional camping atmosphere.
