Anglers and paddlers have direct river access at Belmont Park, where a boat ramp connects to the Tombigbee River just upstream from its confluence with the Black Warrior near Demopolis. Managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, the campground has 15 sites, with two that can accommodate rigs up to 30 feet. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit. Bathrooms have running water, though no showers are available. A large pavilion is also on-site. Pets are welcome, and campers looking at campgrounds near Black Warrior and Tombigbee Lakes will find nearby alternatives like Foscoe Creek a few miles south.

Belmont Park offers a primitive campground and access to some of the best public hunting and fishing opportunities on the Tombigbee River. The area gives quick access to properties located on the David K. Nelson Wildlife Management Area as well as areas managed by the Corps of Engineers. Campers will appreciate the group shelter and water borne restroom facilities conveniently located on the grounds.
