Diversion Dam Road Dispersed — Wind River BLM

Quiet BLM land along the Wind River corridor sits just past the diversion dam on a roughly one-mile dead-end spur off Diversion Dam Road, putting the river and its sandy beach within easy reach. Multiple dispersed spots spread out along the bank, some with natural shade, and the dead-end character of the road keeps traffic and noise minimal. The road surface has some damage worth watching — slow down on approach — and the low-lying riverside terrain can be prone to flooding during high water.
