Along Bridger National Forest's mountain corridor in western Wyoming, this large open clearing sits alongside a flowing creek whose sound carries through the night. Fire rings and a picnic table are already in place, and the wide flat area handles trailers and rigs comfortably — though the road narrows beyond this point, making it the practical turnaround for anything longer than a mid-size trailer. Snow can close the road well into spring, so early-season trips are best planned for late May or after.
