Overview
Thorn Spring Park is a privately operated campground located at 42 All Star Drive in Franklin, West Virginia, in the mountains of Pendleton County. Open year-round, it offers tent sites, RV hookups, and cabin rentals suited for families, groups, and outdoor enthusiasts. The park also serves as Pendleton County's 4-H camp for approximately one to two weeks per year but is otherwise fully open to public nightly bookings.
Facilities
RV sites are available with full hookups (electric and water) at $40/night or no-hookup sites at $20/night. Tent camping is priced at $10/person per night. Cabins sleep 8–22 guests and each includes a private bathroom, refrigerator, sink, range, and wood-burning stove; guests supply their own linens and cookware. A bathhouse with restrooms and showers serves tent campers. The park features a pavilion with kitchen facilities available for daily rental, suitable for reunions, weddings, and group events. Garbage/trash service is provided on-site.
Recreation
Fishing is available on the property. An adjacent stream and woods provide access for naturalists. The park features large playing fields and has hosted motorcycle and ATV events.
