Basecamp Williams River sits along the Williams River in West Virginia's forested landscape, providing a private campground option with electric hookups and basic amenities. The facility features drinking water, shower facilities, and allows both campfires and pets on the property.
Campers can access the drive-in sites directly, with nightly rates ranging from $50 to $200 depending on site selection and season. Reservations are available for planning ahead. The forested setting keeps sites shaded while the nearby river provides water access. Other options include Bishop Knob Campground for those preferring different amenities or settings.
Description
Base Camp Williams River is located on 12 acres of forest land that shares a border with the Monongahela National Forest near Cowen, WV. We are ideally located to take advantage of the world class trout fishing on the Williams and Cranberry rivers. Also West Virginia's most remote Wilderness area is right on our doorstep offering nearly limitless hiking opportunities.
We are still under development, currently offering only 1 site but with a dozen planned sites to still be developed.
