Odlin County Park Camping - Lopez Island

The staff here was very accomodating. I wanted to change campsites and no problem. Sites 1-13 have waterview. I had a class B and probably could not fit into some spaces (too short and/or low tree branches) . Great location to bike from or kayak. Beachfront available.

Great bay with beach sites and tree lined sites. Quiet, beautiful, peaceful.

There are hikes right off the camp or Lopez is a great and easy island to explore.

We had deer in our campsite everyday.

Camp host was very welcoming and helpful.

There is a great grocery store in the village. That was important because midweek in the offseason, not many restaurants were open.

Watmough Beach on the southern end of the island is a 300 yard flat hike/walk to stunning cliff views and a great Cell coverage was spotty throughout the camp. AT&T was mostly available but slow. Verizon has dead spots, but when it did connect, it seemed faster.

We stayed in spot 16 - close to bathrooms and trash, but not right next to them. Roomy site with massive trees.

Would happily stay here again.

This campsite was my first time to visit Lopez Island. That campsite was definitely above than I expected! It has waterfront with beach, campsites are neat and restroom is better other campsites! This place is perfect for who goes on bikepacking or using car to camping there. And it has amazing sunset view too!!

Odlin Park is just off the ferry landing on Lopez Island. There's a long sandy beach where locals and tourists alike come to spend their days. As someone who often paddles around the islands I prefer hike-biker sites. Unfortunately, if you're coming from the water these wonderfully removed sites are a little bit of a trek. If you're arriving by foot or by bike then they are perfect! There are some RV/car sites right on the water that have very little privacy from one another as well as a few others up into the woods a little more.

One of the best parks for bike camping in the islands. Sites are spacious and offer wonderful views of the sound.

This quaint little county park is right off from the ferry landing. There are plenty of beach sites, a few are “walk-in” – which just means that you can’t park your car there. There are lots of forested sites which offer more privacy than the beach. The views of Shaw Island and the passage between are beautiful. Great swimming, paddling, and crabbing can be had here. Reservations are available 90 days prior and necessary July – August. We got lucky with a mid-week September arrival and got site #11, one of the best beach sites in the camp for 2 nights.

Boat launch, water, clean pit-toilets, great recycling and trash are all available here, but no showers or electric outlets. However, Lopez Villiage has some of the best showers which you can use for the suggested donation of $2. Go get an ice cream or latte while you’re there.
