Quiet campground with beautiful views of the sound. Sitting on the beach and watching the ferries at night is a treat.
One of the best parks for bike camping in the islands. Sites are spacious and offer wonderful views of the sound.
The primitive sites offer a fire ring and picnic table. Some offer more privacy than other and I have found the ones further up the trail to be the best.
Access to the trail is wonderful bonus to the campground.
This campground isn't my go to for a regular camping trip, however it's a great place to get from the city on my bike easily. The hiker biker site is top notch and provides plenty of distance from the main campground.
The settings are beautiful and highly recommend the trails that connect to the park. Walking along the river is a treat.
This camp is one of a long strong along the Clackamas river. It's nestled close to the river in a densely wooded section not far for the highway. Fortunately the sound of the river drowns out most car traffic and provides calming background noise.
The campground offers an array of sites with varying sizes, and layouts. It's wise to scope out what's available before setting up camp.
