Beautiful and quiet!

We stumbled upon this campground and we’re glad we did. It was quiet with the exception of the flowing creek which made perfect ambience. Moss covered everything as the sun tries to shine down through the trees. All the sites are nestled in with plenty of privacy and the bathrooms are well kept.

Beautiful!

Found this campground by accident. I’m so glad I did. All of the sites have a good view of the creek. It’s clean and quiet( except for the creek). I reserved site #1 which had a surprise covered area with picnic tables.

Secure your load!

This was our first time here, however our friends have been coming here for a long time. We brought in a 25” travel trailer. The road in is EXTREMELY bumpy, you have to drive really really slow, at least down the right side of the airstrip. We also had to back over some pretty large tree roots to get our trailer into the camp stop. Other than getting in our stay was very pleasant. We were adequately spaced out from other campers and there was a great 8.3 mile trail nearby. Plus it was also kinda cool seeing planes land and take off (only 2 in the two days we were there, and only during the day). I would definitely stay here again.

Way out there, loud river, bring bug spray!

This campground is easy to find but a long drive into the woods on a bumpy gravel road. I made it in a Camery but it was a bumpy ride. Closest store is 45 minutes away so make sure you bring everything you need including firewood. It gets pretty chilly as the campground is well shaded. The river is very loud so you really don't hear your neighbors. The bugs are terrible, I've never seen mosquitos that aggressive. Each site had a tent pad, picnic table, and fire ring. There are some spots closer together but plenty that are set apart enough that you have privacy. Beautiful campground. No cell reception. One group had kids who were older but we didn't see any other kids. Well taken care of vault toilets though there was no host when we were there. Four stars only because the bugs were so bad, everything else about it was perfect for what we were looking for.

Out of the way and amazing.

This campground is out of the way, just how I like it. Campsites 22-25 are right on the creek. If you don't mind freezing your ass off, you can swim.

Pick a spot on the Water

Buck Creek is one of the options at Baker Lake.

Not my first choice in this area but, its a good spot. Most of the sites are shady and back in the trees but they do have a couple water front sites.

You must make reservations at least 4 days in advance or else first come first serve in picking a site.
