Set on private land west of camping areas near Ellensburg, The Cottonwood Retreat is a drive-in property where campers pay $30-$50 per night for sites with picnic tables, firewood, and trash service. The access road is bumpy, but sites are close to the gate. Wind runs high here in summer. The property also has a heated off-grid cabin called a "Glabin," horses, cattle, chickens, and dogs on-site. No running water is available, so bringing your own is essential. Reservations are accepted, and cell service is available at the site.
