Great place to relax and ride ORVs

This is a great place to camp and ride ORVs they have a beginners loop trailhead attached to this site as well as a trail head to a larger trail system. I’ve been coming here since a child and I bring my kids here to learn how to ride and enjoy all the great outdoor have to offer.

Fee is $5 per night

Frequently Asked Questions

What amenities and facilities are provided at Riders Camp Manastash?

Riders Camp Manastash is a basic campground designed primarily for ORV enthusiasts. The site has a $5 fee for camping. While specific amenities aren't extensively detailed, it's primarily set up as a functional basecamp for trail riding rather than a full-service campground. The main feature is the direct access to trail systems. Visitors should plan to bring their own water and supplies, as this appears to be a more rustic camping experience. Contact the managing agency for information about restroom facilities and other amenities before your trip.

What trail riding opportunities are available at Riders Camp Manastash?

Riders Camp Manastash offers excellent ORV trail riding opportunities with a beginner's loop trailhead directly attached to the campsite. This makes it perfect for teaching children and newcomers how to ride safely. The camp also connects to a larger trail system for more experienced riders looking for challenging terrain. The interconnected trails provide varying difficulty levels, making it suitable for riders of all skill levels to enjoy off-road adventures in the surrounding forest area.

When is Riders Camp Manastash open and what are the best times to visit?

Riders Camp Manastash likely follows seasonal access patterns typical of forest service campgrounds in Washington. The best times to visit are during late spring through early fall when weather conditions are favorable for both camping and ORV riding. Summer offers ideal riding conditions with dry trails, while spring and fall provide cooler temperatures. Weather and trail conditions can vary significantly by season, so check with the forest service for current status before planning your trip. The campground may close during winter months due to snow and access limitations.

Where is Riders Camp Manastash located and how do I get there?

Riders Camp Manastash is located in the Manastash Ridge area, which is part of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington state. The campground is accessible by vehicle, though specific directions would require checking with the local Forest Service office. The camp serves as a base for off-road vehicle enthusiasts with direct access to trailheads. A forest or access road leads to the campground, making it convenient for those bringing ORVs and camping equipment.
