Squilchuck State Park Campground sits within Washington State Parks' system south of campgrounds around Wenatchee, set in forested terrain with access to open areas and a nearby lake. Drive-in sites come with picnic tables, flush toilets, and showers. The season runs May through December, and pets are welcome. Hiking and biking trails connect directly from camp. At $69 per night, reservations are available and worth securing in advance.
Description
Squilchuck State Park is a 249-acre park located 9 miles south of Wenatchee. Its high desert hills are covered with forests of fir and ponderosa pine. More than 10 miles of mountain bike trails fan out from a single group campground. Within minutes, youll find yourself careening around corners and pedaling into the hills, where wild bike rides await. Ride along Mission Ridge Road or out to the Wheeler Reservoir for a more rugged day.
