One of the first boat campsites on Ross Lake

This is a boat-in only backcountry campsite. We stayed here on the first night of our kayak trip on Ross Like. All the sites on Ross Lake and Diablo Lake are by reservation only through the North Cascades NP reservation site between May 15th and September 30th. https://www.nps.gov/noca/planyourvisit/permits.htm

Not the nicest of the campsites on the lake but at the right distance from the start.  It was wooded with minimal views of water from the sites, but nice new pit toilets and very nice dock from which one can get evening sunlight and sunset glow.  Big open sites (two tent pads for site - can easily accommodate a group of 6-8 people per site.
