John Wayne's Waterfront Resort

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting just across from John Wayne Marina on Sequim Bay, this RV resort gives campers direct access to waterfront views and a network of trails that begins at the back of the property. The location puts the Discovery Trail within reach for biking or walking, and the Dockside Grill sits directly across the street. Sites vary in what they include: some have full hookups with electric, water, and sewer, while others in the back of the park are water and electric only. RVs up to 60 feet are accommodated, and WiFi, showers, and a dump station round out the amenity list.

Sites run close together, and some are not fully level, so campers who prioritize spacing may want to plan accordingly. The back of the park tends to offer more shade, and site 54 sits right at the trailhead. The common areas draw consistent praise, and the resort includes a playground, volleyball net, fire pits, and a general store. Some sites are occupied by long-term residents. Reviewers note friendly staff and a social atmosphere on the grounds.

"The community feeling was incredible, kind people," wrote Chloe G. after a 2024 stay, who also noted a nearby lavender farm worth visiting. Campers exploring campgrounds around Sequim have other options in the area, including Sequim Bay State Park Campground about 1.6 miles south and Gilgal Oasis RV Park a few miles northwest. John Wayne's Waterfront Resort works best for RV travelers who want full hookups, waterfront proximity, and easy access to both trails and town.

Quiet this time of year

Right across John Wayne marina. Full hook ups. Trails behind rv sites for walks and close to discovery trail for biking or walking long distances. Close to town but away from traffic and traffic noises

Small getaway!

The community feeling was incredible, kind people and a beautiful view. We visited a nearby lavender farm and that was a nice spot too. We will be staying here again!

Good location and lots of amenities!

Stayed two night here. It was our first trip to an actual RV park with hookups and a lot of amenities available. It was pretty and the staff was nice and the location was perfect. There’s a playground, volleyball bet, fire pits, general store and plenty else.

Ok park in a great area

This park is alright- not much room between sites, not super level, no sewer connection for our part of the park- but the bay and park area around it is spectacular! The RV park has nice staff too! We stayed in a W/E site at the very back where there was shade (a very good thing considering the heatwave when we visited). Would choose site 54 again! It is also right next to the trailhead for the trails at the back of the park. They were amazing! Would highly recommend eating at the Dockside Grill across the street.
