Hungate Canyon BLM Dispersed — Moses Coulee

BLM land above Moses Coulee sets the stage here — a sagebrush-steppe plateau in central Washington's Columbia River basin, where basalt canyon walls drop sharply below the rolling uplands. The gravel parking area at the Hungate Canyon trailhead serves as the overnight spot, with the canyon trail departing directly from the lot. No facilities are on-site, but the road quiets down after dark and the trail makes for a good leg-stretch with dogs.
