Goat Creek Sno-Park

Where the North Cascades Highway reaches the Mazama valley, Goat Creek Sno-Park provides a basic overnight option for RVs up to 45 feet. This Forest Service site operates as a large gravel lot with a single vault toilet, offering 14-day stays on undeveloped ground.

The facility functions primarily as winter parking for cross-country skiers, but campers use it year-round for free dispersed camping. Reviewers note the clean restroom facilities and ample space for larger rigs. Hikers and mountain bikers access nearby trails directly from the site, while equestrians appreciate the open layout for horse trailers. For those wanting developed amenities, Rolling Huts offers a more structured camping experience just southeast of the area.
