Eagles Nest Resort

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Fishing the Columbia River and exploring the Long Beach Peninsula keep campers busy around Thousand Trails Long Beach, and Eagles Nest Resort serves as a practical base for both. The resort runs year-round and accommodates RVs up to 65 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. An indoor pool, mini golf, horseshoes, and beach volleyball round out the on-site activity options. Site quality varies: spots near the main building sit in open areas with little separation, while others appear more secluded. The pool exhaust fan has been noted as a noise source for nearby sites. Amenities include clean bathrooms with bathtubs, laundry, and WiFi, though the facilities carry a dated feel. Request a quieter, more private site when booking.

Not much privacy, facilities a bit dated

After so many days of boondocking in my van, I decided to splurge on a resort with shower facilities. The bathroom were very clean and had actual bathtubs. However, the facilities are starting to show their age (1980s vibes). It looks like some spots are more private, but my assigned spot near the main building was in a wide open area with no privacy. There is an indoor pool, and the exhaust fan from the pool building was loud and made it hard to relax. I would stay here again, but with advance reservations in a quiet/more secluded spot.

Great family campground

Large campground with RV sites, tent camping area, and cabins. There is a clubhouse with a pool, board games, and movies. They also have a swing set, horseshoes, beach volleyball, and mini golf. Neighbors were friendly and it was quite at night. There is also a laundry facility and we like to go to Long Beach and Astoria nearby for the markets on the weekend.
