Six miles east of Port Angeles, 7 Acres Of Heaven sits on forested land near a lake with walk-in access only. The campground provides basic amenities including restrooms, picnic tables, and campfire rings, with firewood available for purchase on-site. WiFi access and ADA-accessible facilities serve campers who need connectivity or accessibility features.
Reservations help secure a spot at this $30-50 per night campground. Trash service keeps the area maintained, though the walk-in requirement means packing gear from parking areas. The forested setting provides natural shade, while the nearby lake offers water access for those planning longer stays in the camping near Port Angeles region.

Welcome to 7 Acres of Heaven, a private, 'Reservation-Only' campground in East Port Angeles -
We have lovely grounds to wander in, numerous art installations, labyrinth, & several outdoor spaces to support your sense of peace and connection.
This is NOT a party camp space. We are a place for peace and quiet where you can enjoy the woods. We are also not suitable for children (if you have tweens/teens, message us). We have too many "attractive nuisances" for young children to be safe.
Three secluded campsites are nestled among cedars, firs, hemlock and maples. Tents only, no campers/trailers or pets please. Community firepit has chairs, with free firewood (a curated selection of site-grown firewood may include: cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc). Fire BAN is currently OFF, so campfire in the pit is OK. We have a picnic table with a popup tarp/rain cover to use for food prep, with handy trash and recycling cans nearby. Portapotty is a short walk from the tent sites.
Safe, secure, private, scenic. Two campers and one vehicle per site. There is no electricity available in the Tent camping area. Good Cell coverage in the area, and WIFI is available near the Big Barn.
You're staying on a 7 acre, mostly forested parcel, 1/4 mile from Hwy 101, mid way between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA. Some traffic hum, but not much, and it varies depending on how the wind is blowing.
Originally, Funston Gardens, we (Will and Asha) became stewards of this beautiful property in June 2016. We live on the property with Clancy, Uncle Larry, Tim and Pete and our friendly Northwest Farm Terrier, Pickle.
We were the first Olympic Peninsula HipCamp site (June 2018), we joined TheDYRT for the 2025 season.
We are conveniently located:
- 1/4 mile to the Bus Stop on US 101 (FREE local bus service!)
- 3/4 miles East of the Deerpark entrance to Olympic Natl Park,
- 5.5 miles East of the Main Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center & Hurricane Ridge.
- 6 miles to the Ferry to Victoria BC.
- 33 miles to Lake Crescent Spruce Railroad trailhead,
